Through structured workshops, counseling services, tutoring, and Sports recreation we aim to provide children with love, acceptance and encouragement in a safe drug and violence free community. Specific, programs consist of Before & Afterschool care programs for 600 elementary students. Summer recreation program serving 100 children and 60 teenagers every summer for 25 years. Our Helping Hand Food Pantry is supported by Long Island Cares,Centereach High School students and Community members served 808 meals last year. Community Service program provides young people referred by the Red Cross,School District, the Juvenile Justice System and community organizations a positive and supervised and structured organization to rehabilitate, mentor, supervise them in completing their community task or assignement. Our "Drop In Lounge" Provides a supervised in environment for young people to exchange information and ideals in a respectful and positive manner. In addition, we offer Pool tables, Ping-Pong, Foosball, Video and Board games, Air Hockey, Chess, Dance Dance Revolution, Kareoke, Music, Discussion Groups, and a host of positive Re-enforcement,support and encouragement.
