We were established in July of 2005 as the resident in-store adoption partner for PetSmart in Huntington Beach, CA. In November of 2006 we opened an office in Monroe Ohio. Though we no longer have an adoption facility, C&C continues it's mission to promote spay/neuter/microchip education, the importance of pet adoption over pet store purchase and occasionally offers emergency veterinary care to at-risk animals. We also publish a quarterly newsletter, FurrY TaleS, with a mailing list of over 200 subscribers. Our long terms goals are to a purchase a mobile spay/neuter van - the Surf City Neuter Scooter - for the city of Huntington Beach and to open a low cost Spay/Neuter clinic in Monroe. We are an IRS 501c3 public charity and rely solely on private donations and fundraisers.
