Imagine the world of a child who has no hope, no promise of a future! Over a 100 million children in India, between 6 and 14 years of age, are outside the school system and are therefore highly likely to be child laborers. Vibha is a movement that empowers you to help restore the promise of a future to an underprivileged child in India. Our Vision: To ensure that every underprivileged child attains his or her right to education, health and opportunity. Mission Statement: Educate, empower and enable every individual who wishes to make a positive difference in the life of an underprivileged child. Vibha is a 11-year-old, volunteer driven organization with a mission to enable child development. Through action centers in over 30 cities nationwide, our 1500 volunteers work to raise awareness in the local community about children's issues and to generate funds currently supporting more than 56 projects in India and 8 projects in the US. Vibha is a US based non-religious and non-political, 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization. All donations to Vibha are tax-exempt in the US. | |
