Massachusetts Center for People, Work and Learning Inc is committed to providing the best quality care to our consumers, and nothing short of family living is what our mission is all about " Absolute Love, Care and family Living as together People Work" This is what we envision for all of our Consumers, staffs and those that support our courses. Our Main Purpose is to Provide such services as:

Residential Services
Day Care Services
Homeless Outreach
Shelter for homeless Family / Individuals
Shared Living
Day Health Program
Respite Care Service
The Liana-Riches School
Our Community kitchen(O.C.K)
Massachusetts Center furniture Depot

OUR SERVICES:
The organization's plan is to engage in other services that will promote love, care, unity and a sense of belonging to those of our community members who are not wealthy and comfortable enough to afford decent means of livelihood those services are outlined in the order of preference below.

RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT SERVICES:
The agency provides residential services to individuals with special needs especially those living with MR/MH, the poor and the under- privilege in our community in a caring and loving home environment in and around the Worcester county and its surrounding towns, with support from the Department Public health and Mental Retardation as well as the Social Welfare Department.

DAY PROGRAM/WORKSHOP:
The agency provides day care services to individuals with mental health and mental retardation in a caring environment with professional staffs at hand to attend to the personal, physical and emotional needs of our consumers while giving them the basic educational needs they deserve. The agency also provides learning experiences to students with special needs in a fun and structured environment to meet the individual needs of our students case by case. Students with autism and mental retardation are given the due psychological and clinical evaluations they deserve to gain knowledge and help them in building self-esteem.

DAY HEALTH SERVICE:
This program serves as our rehab center to tend to the needs of our clients rehabilitative needs with state of the art equipment to address their unique situations. This facility is open to people of ages and is designed to meet the occupational and physical therapy needs of our consumers. This center is staffed by certified physical therapists, occupational as well as speech pathologist. Support for these services comes from the Department of mental Retardation and the Department of Mental Health and other subsidiary agencies.

SHARED LIVING:
This program is designed to match our individuals who need little help in certain areas of life to manage their day-to-day activities with host families. These are very able-bodied men and women who need to be reminded when to do certain daily life routine or activities of daily living with supervision from care givers. The Departments of Mental Retardation and the Department of Public Health funds this services.

RESPITE SERVICES:
This program is designed to relieve care –givers the burden of caring for their loved ones on a full time basis at home the opportunity to take time off from their hectic commitment and have their loved one stay in our friendly homes while they take the vacation that they so much desire.

THE HILTON SHELTER:
This program is designed to meet the needs of our community members who find themselves in an emergency situations that requires immediate need for a place to call home on a temporary or as needed. This program is open to all members of our community and is funded by donations from individuals and by public support.

BONA-CHRISTI HOMES:
These are small housing units for little or no income individuals. The agency will provide furniture, food and personal care products for those who are new to the community especially immigrants and those who have just relocated from other parts of the country. This program will give people the opportunity to settle down in our community while they try finding themselves with gainful employment. Support for these services comes from the social welfare department, corporations and members of the public.

THE SHERPERD HOUSE:
This is a home that cares for the aged and frail members of our community who have limited healthcare coverage and are not wealthy enough to afford nursing home care .Our agency will provide these citizens with all the necessary things needed for a comfortable life in an environment that brings comfort and satisfaction and fulfillment to their lives. This program is staffed round the clock with maximum of two to three staff members at any given time to provide personal care management, housekeeping and general body maintenance. Funding for these services is from social welfare department and by public support.

THE LIANA –RICHE SCHOOL:
This is a school designed to meet the special needs of some of our community students living with autism and other form of disability who cannot benefit from larger classroom setting due to physical, emotional and psychological in balance as a result of abnormalities incurred before and after birth . Our main goal is to see this student succeed in a smaller classroom setting and to provide them with the most comfortable learning environment imaginable. Students with same skill level will be placed in a classroom in a ratio of 4-1. Our classrooms are equipped with all the modern tools for effective learning. Our students have the comfort of home setting brought into a classroom with our Qualified teachers and teacher's aide who are always available and attentive to our students need.
