MISSION To enhance communication and cooperation among agencies and individuals entrusted with the responsibility to protect child victims of abuse; to minimize the child's trauma and maximize the effects of interventions for children and their families. -CAS partners with the 21st Judicial District Attorney's office to provide an age-appropriate safety educational program for children in public and private schools. This program empowers children by teaching them about "Okay - Not Okay" and helps them learn how to seek help if they are abused and/or neglected. -Parents are informed about the material that will be provided to their children. Special presentations are also made to parent groups about the program and about the services CAS provides in the community.
