Car Donations & Eligibility from "Charity Cars"

Charity Cars provides free refurbished vehicles to a wide variety of individuals and families that are referred by varied non-profit organizations, social service agencies and employers around the country.
Charity Cars clients include:
- Victims of domestic violence
- The medically needy
- Victims of natural disasters
- Families transitioning from public assistance to work
- Families living in transitional living shelters
- The working poor
To Apply for a Charity Cars vehicle:
If you are an individual, family or non-profit organization and would like to apply for a free vehicle from Charity Cars, please briefly explain your situation of need and include your name and contact information. Please note that you will only be contacted if you are selected to receive an application. Please do not contact the staff of Charity Cars by phone.

If you are a caseworker and would like to refer a client to Charity Cars, or receive additional information about our program please e-mail us YOUR (caseworker) contact information and need via the Charity Cars form.

You can donate your car or other vehicle (boat, RV or motorcycle) online. Your car donation WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE to a family in need.

* Based on the fact that the vast majority of donated vehicles are not eligible to be 'program' cars (Charity Cars bases its decisions on many factors including, but not limited to, year, make, model, mileage, condition, location, recipient, repair and funding limitations.) and since placing a vehicle with a client is the exception rather than the rule, donors should assume that their vehicle will be sold at auction or for salvage with the proceeds returning to Charity Cars, Inc. (unless notified in writing that their vehicle will be provided to a disadvantaged person). Although most of the vehicles donated are not of sufficient quality to be 'program' cars, Charity Cars appreciates each and every car donation as they all help to fulfill our missions!
